dash rattle?

    i have a 02 double cab and for a while ive had a loud vibration from the top of the dash. if i push down on the top it goes away..... anyone else having this problem and if so how did you fix it? I have put a small plastic wedge between the front window and dash. it works/helps but not a total fix. thanks guys

    I'm not a huge fan of telling people to "search" usually, but there is a thread that has covered this before. From what I remember, a lot of members had it. Some had really ingenius ideas to fix it. I'll see if I can find it for you :)

    Custom skid plate, rock rails, front bumper & rear bumper, pioneer head unit with 3-way pioneer components, blinker mod, Eibach coils, Bilstein 5100s, Procomp AALs, American Racing Sawblades, M/Ts, BPV Bracket, deckplate, LED Dash
    mine does that from time to time

    K&N panel/ snorkel removed Keyless
    New here and to Tacomas but mine had a rattle that appeared during idle while stopped. It sounded like a helicopter flying over. I found the hood/cowl gasket that slipped out from the cowl. I lifted the cowl enough to replace the gasket; rattle disapeared.

    my rattle is coming from the passenger airbag area like inside the dash i put my hand on it it stops im just not to keen on messing with airbags

    Mine did this too, search and see , but you can cut rubber hose in a small piece and wedge it in between the glass and the dash. Thats what i did.
