'08 skyline silver 6 cyl auto access cab 4x4

Hi folks,
The temperature control panel light bulbs were burned out when I bought my '08 Tacoma 4wd access cab. I bought two from the local dealer, wow were they spendy!! Installed them that afternoon, that evening I noticed a pleasant difference with the added illumination. Next morning both were burned out! Anyone else have an experience like this?
