Dashboard 'D' light intermittent?

    Got in my truck this morning. Went to put it in drive and noticed the 'D' wasn't lot up. Switched it back and forth from neutral and after three times the light for drive finally came on.

    Anyone have any ideas if this is an indicator or something else or can I look at something else to see why this happened? Thanks!

    I have a 2011. It did just snow a good bit and all melted. No driving through water though. You think some water might have gotten somewhere it shouldn't have been?
