So last year I replaced my Halogen fog light bulbs w/ LED replacements. Coincidently I had a relay go bad in the fuse box in the engine compartment & I replaced that relay. I then noticed that whenever I turn the fog lights on , the BLUE fog light indicator IN THE dashboard display no longer lights up. I have read that since the LED's consume much less power that the CAN BUS system may not recognize the LED's & therefore not indicate their "on" status. Has anyone here encountered this?

2nd gens don't have an indicator for the fog lights so whatever indicator your referring to must be aftermarket.
Or are you referring to the high beam indicator?

The blue light shaped indicator in the dash is your high beam indicator, not fog lights. The only indicator for the fog lights bein on is the light in the actual fog light button. Go turn your high beams on and you should see the indicator light come on. If this indicator was coming on when you turned your lights on this means you had been driving around with your high beams on.
