    Anyone done/heard of a mod to add a dashboard gear indicator to an '03 taco automatic?

    If you have an automatic then for what purpose do you want one for as you really have no control over shifts? :confused:

    should have said "gear" indicator. What? Like you've never manually shifted an automatic tranny? ;)

    the gear indicator is on the shift nob plate thing there is no display in the dash

    Yes, but I want one on the dash, hence my original post.

    Yeah but you wouldn't need a shift indicator for that. :p

    Now that you've clarified, you can get something like this:

    Or if your capable of doing it you could easily make your own using proximity sensors or contact switches & some LEDs. Might be too much trouble than what it's worth though.
