Dashboard Shift Indicator

Anyone done/heard of a mod to add a dashboard gear indicator to an '03 taco automatic?

 

If you have an automatic then for what purpose do you want one for as you really have no control over shifts?

 

Do you mean like an indicator as to what gear you're in?

 

yeah, should have called it a "gear" indicator

the gear indicator is on the shift nob plate thing there is no display in the dash

 

Yes, but I want one on the dash, hence my original post.

 

Yeah but you wouldn't need a shift indicator for that.

Or if your capable of doing it you could easily make your own using proximity sensors or contact switches & some LEDs. Might be too much trouble than what it's worth though.
