Hey all

Jumping back into patch creating with a new idea / series idea , been a long year with divorce and personal stuff but I'm slowly coming back to Tacoma Word and missed it here !

Was thinking last night of some different ideas and I was wondering if there would be any interest and or thoughts on a series like this exclusive to Tacoma owners

My idea is something similar to this where you get the view of the Inside of the tacoma , but with different scenic places maybe with a fun/ supportive quote .

Let me know what you guys may or may not think and if you may or may not be interested , if I decide to do those this would be the tread to be in on .

Now that I have a website I could possibly do multiple so like a manual or auto wouldn't be impossible !

 

In before someone says, "If only it was a 2nd gen..."

I like the idea! Could do an ocean beach scene, desert scene, forest scene, lake scene... lots of opportunities. Just make sure there's plenty of room to get all the details.

If it takes off then you could do 2nd and 1st gen tacomas, maybe even FJs...?

 

I like it, a great idea. There are enough of you that have had the pleasure to experience the mountains, trails, streams, desert with your Tacoma's based on where you live. You may be able to ask members to submit some of those scenic pics for you to put in the front windshield as the view.

That would be awesome. Not really sure about how detailed the patches are to create, but some of the folks here on TW would probably be willing to help out. Hi res images I would think (I am in the printing world - so hi res artwork is what we deal with a lot). Just thinking out loud.

I would definitely be in for those.

I have a ton of senic pics from CA from road trips I'm thinking this would be a decent sized patch to fit all the details !

 

I'm really liking the idea of a forest/stream/lake.

 

That would be cool maybe if there is a senic place that I may not have maybe a free patch to anyone who has the specific senic place I'm looking for ?

My second job is in a print shop so I know the importance of hi res! It really does make a difference

uh Duh for those that don't have those in your backyard you can know have the patch.

 

Or you could do a DYI patch We send or post are pics of interior you make the patch.

 

That's not a bad idea either... I use a 3rd party, looking for a mom and pop shop out in AZ bc I wasnt impressed with my last co. Online. But that's not a horrible idea ?

 

I'm going to play with photoshop tonight already have the windshield whited out on the 2nd and 3rd gen models

 

I have a first gen if you need pics if/when that ever happens. I also live on a 1400 acre farm with some good views of fields, Appalachian mountains, and rivers.

I could get much better pictures and views since it’s a no longer winter and the grass is much greener now. There are also many other angles that would show off the landscape instead of my truck.

 

I like the diy aspect of this. I shoot you a pic of my interior because not all interiors are the same. patches, knobs, buttons, switches. I pay you. You send me patch.

 

This sounds like the best idea. I even have a couple of places that I wouldn't mind having a view of.
