Dashcam draining battery

Has anyone experienced this? I have the

hardwire kit connected to the (empty) lower left fuse slot. I even tried turning the parking mode off, but it is still draining the battery. I can move the fuse to an accessory power slot but would prefer the always on functionality. I don't drive a ton (5-10 miles a few days a week) so it may just be as simple as that.

None of my dashcams have drained the battery, but I've not run that brand either. How long are you leaving it parked?

You might need another camera. My latest uses a two-wire kit: one taps an always-hot and the other taps a switched-hot. That lets the camera drop to low power mode when parked, but will still record events.
