I have one in my 2005, It helped with the off gassing of the dash and causing the haze on the windshield. And down here in the New Mexico Desert it helps save the dash from the sun. I got mine through O'Reilly's online and had it shipped to the house.

Have a picture of it? What material did you go with, carpet, suede?

I went with the carpet. I also went with grey to match the inside of the truck and being that it's been in there for 20 years it's like new. I don't have a picture. I believe the Brand is Dashmat.

Thank you very much for the info. Glad it’s worked out and still looks new. My19 utility cab SR has a black dash and grey seats and interior panels so debating grey or black

Dash Designs in black and the cheapest fabric they offered. If you want something a little higher end go with suede.

If you aren't in a Hot and Dusty, Dirty area like me in the Desert I think Black would be nice. Now I did a Camo one in my F-150, It has a lot of darker colors, I get a lot of reflection off of it when the sun hits it and it is a suede material.

I have a dash mat made from the Velcro material so I could put patches on it. Also hides wires from the expedition essentials dash mounted things.

Meso spare fuse holder. Aluminum gas cap holder. Genuine Toyota bed lights. Bed molle racks. Ammo case storage under hood. In-bed spare tire. Automatic underhood lights. Gooey glurp on frame.
This is not the brand I bought, but the material is similar. It permits me to stick lightweight items with velcro on the bottoms. Currently, a small, plush Bluey is accompanying me on a road trip for work.

I agree about the NM sun, I’m from Roswell and the sun is brutal on everything and if you don’t keep your car under a carport or in a garage the sun will fade the paint in time and rot the wiper blades too. I always used a dash mat there. But now living in Arkansas I don’t use one put probably still should. Especially with the off gassing you spoke of.

Will any of these dash mats stay in place without the use of Velcro? Possibly a heavier mat material?

Those things look so ghetto. Might as well get your truck a "Huggy Bear" vanity plate while you're at it.
