Got mine in the mail yesterday. Packaging was great and all pieces were there. More than a happy customer. Will get it mounted when I find the time.

Has anyone had trouble with the 10-32 captured nuts? I can’t thread the 10-32 1-3/4” screw into any of them. I even bought new screws to test and none of them will thread into the nuts either. I checked the screws’ thread pitch with a 10-32 die and they thread nicely, even the included one for the Ram mount. It seems the captured nuts are a size small?

I even removed one of the captured nuts and still could not thread the screw in.

Anyone else had this trouble? No one has posted this, so maybe I’m the only one?

@FreshMexicanTaco can you verify the nuts in the latest shipments are the right size?

Up to this point, installation has been easy and the design and build quality is great. I’m soooo close to being finished and ready to put this to use!

You're the first one to tell me about this, I don't know whats going on. PM me some pictures please, I want to get this taken care of ASAP.
If I figure out anything I'll let you know.
If anyone else comes across a similar problem, LET ME KNOW, I WILL FIX IT.

EDIT:
I check the hardware bag, it contained several undersized nut plates!
If anyone else finds that their bottom plates have undersized nuts, let me know which ones and I will priority mail the right ones out ASAP!

 

Okay, glad I'm not crazy! Can you send me new nuts?

Also, I just sent $ for two additional bolts and bushings (when you have them).

@FreshMexicanTaco well now I'm concerned. I only drilled the 1st mounting space for my cell. I don't know if/when I'll require the additional spaces, so have no idea if the nuts are good?
Also, how would a person (say me) order from you, 2 additional sets of Ball/Bolt/Spacer for the inevitable time I do, infact, wish to add additional mounting?

Got mine done-so. I love it. I'm waiting for bolts and spacers so I can mount one more RAM ball. Maybe down the road I'll put them all up there, but for right now, I can only see myself ever needing 3-4...

I’m about to order. Have seen guys pay a little extra for an extra ball and hardware. Is that still available? Would really like to have two places to mount a phone and tablet.

 

Placed my order 7/12/18 when will you be shipping the next batches, also would like to include an extra ball and hardware if you could? I will pay the difference of course.

You can definitely get additional hardware from me, each 1" ball needs a screw and bushing to attach properly to the DMM,
If you DONT have a DMM yet, add $10 and a note to your payment for each additional set you want.
If you ALREADY have a DMM I can send you an additional set but I have to pay shipping again so I have to charge more, PM me to figure out the best shipping option for your needs.
