Instructions are linked to on the DMM product description on the site, they should be linked to on this thread too, I’m working on written ones but are not finished yet.

How does this compare to the 67 designs mount system? Quality?

My windshield mount finally gave up on me a few days ago.

    Compared to this:

Pretty easy decision in my mind. That said, the 67 Designs one certainly appears better than that massive blob from Expedition Portal.

I'm leaning towards the DMM from Taco Garage. I really don't want to do another windshield one since they leave behind really bad adhesive over time. Its a B***H to clean up

I tried a windshield mount before the Hondo mount, which was around before the DMM dropped. I hated the long arm and that it made putting up the sunshade more work than it should have been. Cleaning wasn't fun either, like you found.

It is funny all that bad place that I see folks put suction mounts, like right in there line of sight. I don't know how they are in collisions.

I had the same problem as well when I went to put my sun shades. lol

Mine was placed almost dead center and never really got in the way, but I've seen people place them right behind the steering wheel and or on top of the dash. Most of the time, those same people always had movies or videos playing while driving.

There’s a few differences but the most important in my opinion would be that the DMM is virtually invisible, it keeps the clean look of your taco and still adds the functionality. Of course if you start mounting stuff on it it’s no longer invisible but you get the idea.
Other than that I haven’t had their rail on my hands but the only other significant difference I can see is the way things are mounted.
We have six distinct mounting locations, most people never use more than 3 though, 2 is the most common. Usually one at the far left and one in the middle or passager side.
67s has a sliding rail which at first glance seems good but that means the ball mounts only have a certain grip depth. I don’t have any real data on this but think of a tower that only has a shallow base underground... the DMM will have at least a slightly deeper grip which should make it more stable.
The DMM has cable cutouts that allow Charging or other kinds of wires to pass through.
I’m obviously biased but I think the DMM is better, it’s also cheaper even at full price, and you also get 10% off for being here (code: TW10)

    AND ITS INVISIBLE!

Got mine yesterday and installed right before a road trip. This thing is awesome! So stealthy. The Ram Mounts are next level too.

Got mine installed this weekend, and got my RAM hardware in today. Mocked up my make-shift Otterbox mount after work and can't wait to pop my phone in and put it to good use. Now to test how long the adhesive will last in Florida heat.

I've said it before but still holds true... out of all the mods I have on my truck, THIS is what I benefit the most EVERY SINGLE DAY. Tires, lift cap, lights, armor and basically anything else can be super cool and useul in certain situations like off-roading but the DMM? every day, every where. We're glad you liked it too..
