Date on MPG display?

Mostly. But, are you running the Toyota Entune app on your phone and are the permissions set?

 

I see no Entune icon on my phone.

GPS is based on time. It is also why you can get updated times based on your timezone

 

If you think your HU is used info from a GPS satellite to set that time and date, well . . .

 

My guess is that is the solution. Search the App Store for Entune.

Be prepared to be underwhelmed, but it will most likely correct the issue.

 

All I can tell you is that it updates whether connected to my phone or not.

 

I am liking the taste of crow and can only assume that if DST can be set, it is pulling the date from the timestamp also. But, that doesn't explain @Vmax540 's issue though.

 

My thought process was just wondering if maybe something happened with the HU and it was just no longer picking that up or it was no longer selected.

 

If the navi map is working, the signal should be getting through. Checking the clock settings may help. With all of my messing around, I don't think I needed to go back in there except maybe after the full wipe? That was a while ago and in the middle of trying different methods to get a FW update to work properly.

 

Yeah, NO… A wheel is a wheel without a tire. The outermost flange or lip of the wheel is called the rim. Along with the rim, there are other components that makeup the entire assembly of a wheel, such as the barrel, spokes, or center disc. A tire can be installed onto a wheel. When shopping for wheels, you will be sold the entire assembly, not just the rim. And normally, tires are not included.

TDOA between satellites to be exact, but did you know GPS time is actually 18 Seconds ahead of real time? That's why the delta time is part of the s/v transmission so that the time you see is correct.

 

Fun facts I didn't ever need to know but find interesting nonetheless!

 

The reason for the delta is that the s/v's clocks cannot have leap seconds inserted. There have been 18 leap seconds since Epoch 0 on January 5th 1980.

 

I think I saw a video on that and it's a lot more complicated than people realize so they can't just "reset" it
