It's been a progressive loss since I had the skinny 33s on there before these, but it's definitely noticeable. So far it hasn't been a problem, but I haven't been on the interstate yet either.

My all time favorite truck was an '84 'Yota I bought new and immediately lifted 4-1/2", stuck 35" Gumbo Mudders and a winch on it. (That's back when 35"'s were really 35"!!!!!!!!!:boink:) With the 22re and a 5-speed, it wasn't exactly ready to compete in F1, but it did OK for the first year before I could spring for gears and lockers. It was just a bad ass little truck back in the day.

After 4 MORE Tacomas that never went bigger than 32"'s, I really want to some day put 35's on this one. Problem is much the same....It would be a while before I could fork out $$$$$$ for gears. Pulling my camper probably wouldn't work so well. :frusty: Just thinking out loud.....

Probably my next tire was gonna get the Cooper MTs but ATs are better in the snow. (Hope to move to CO next Fall and don't have the space for 2 sets of tires.)

Looks good, let me know how they work for ya

Have them in 285s on the wife's 4runner, and they've been fantastic.

How's the wear characteristics? Do you have enough miles on them to tell how long they should go? I've got a Cooper Tire dealer near me that's given me a couple gift cards to work with....I'll be getting my yearly job bonus in a bit and it'll be spent on tires this year. The more I look around the longer my list of possibilities seems to get.

They've been wearing great. Nice and even, and seem like we're going to get quite a bit of life out of them. On the truck I'll be doing a 5 tire rotation, so they should last a while.

Does the driveway count as "off road"?

I parked in the grass earlier. Almost needed the winch, but ATRAC and the rear locker saved my ass.

Your truck has much mall rated-ness that there's a group of 14 year old girls wearing ugg boots and drinking pumpkin spice lattes while texting each other standing next to it.
