    Hi guys,

can anyone help me out or has anyone encountered the same issue. every noe and then the bulb on the driver side will turn off and come back on. its a pretty new bulb. do you think its just hit and miss on the bulbs? i got it from Pep Boys. the fast blinker noise is annoying.

    thanks for the help.

More than likely it's the contacts in the socket. Take the bulb back out and clean the contacts. Make sure that the bulb goes back in fully seated. The bulb has a tiny stranded element, it is either blown or it isn't.

The OEM bulbs wont be the cure. What happened is that Toyota decided one year to make the lights into DAYTIME RUNNING LIGHTS without any modifications. So we have lights on all the time that were never intended or designed to BE on all of the time. The bulbs get very hot and they melt things...In my case they melted my headlight lenses. I did the LED conversion for the blinkers and snipped the DTRL wire that is very well explained in another thread. You have options.
