daylight running lights mod from us model

Hello, looking for some coaching on how to install drl's on a 2009 Tacoma purchased in the US. I would like to make the install before the upcoming inspection.

Are you sure your Tacoma doesn't have them already? My Tacoma from the USA had the lights from the factory. If not, I think you can get them put in pretty cheap at Canadian Tire.

 

Does it have the full time yellow clearance lights? That is all ours have,so that is all that is required. It doesn't have to be the headlights anymore, unfortunately. Full time headlights were way better.

 

All the 09's have dtrl's.................

 

My 09 does not have DRL's and Canadian Tire cannot do it. Toyota cannot do the install but they referred me to a jobber. The jobber is charging $125 plus tax.

Just for your info my 2008's was installed by a jobber for the car lot (GMC) I bought it from and my vehicles DTR lights are the high beams.
