Dayman's Karate Class (but you won't learn nothin’) from SAS’ed Taco to bouncer to IFS 4Runner

Felt a lot of guilt at the time spent away from the family in the garage or on trips dicking around on off-road stuff, so I’m taking a sabbatical. Sold the bouncer and bought a family oriented adventure. Having a blast planning/prepping and tweaking things here and there.

Excited to spend time with my babies and make some good memories. Maybe later in the year we will get a four door Rubicon and get them out in the dirt. Whatever it is, I just want to spend what little free time I have making memories with my family.

 

Other things keeping me busy in my spare time. Playground is coming together. That’s a whole log of fat wood I got out of a massive dead pine. I get really excited about finding that stuff

I’m living my best life out in the country. Like taking the leash off a dog lol

 

Well I held out as long as I could. Couldn’t do a jeep, so I grabbed a third gen 4Runner. Excited to ruin another Toyota!

 

How are you ruining this one? Trailing arms and coilovers in the trunk????

 

Just ordered a JD lt kit. Going to keep this one simple going to do a three link rear with 14” smoothies- canned solution from OPT off-road. 4.88, lockers, 35’s armor and done. Hopefully lol

Hahaha I’m afraid mine is going to be a copy paste easy peasy boring build. Trying to research all I can now and definitely have had you in mind. Did you find any good rear sway options? Not sure if I could make the stock sway work with this and 14” smoothies-

I know a three link kit from Barnes/wherever would be cheaper, but this seems like what I need out of the box. I don’t want to reinvent the wheel with this thing. Any other good rear long travel stuff out there you’ve seen?
