Looks off center to me. The gap right above the bolts should be the same distance.

Is it a factory carrier bearing or aftermarket? I once used a non-factory bearing and it wore out super quick, within a year. Although in my case it was mostly the rubber disintegrated after just one winter rather than the bearing itself.

BTW, it does look crooked on the driveshaft. You may be able to get it straight but I suspect the bearing may be ruined if it got pressed on like that. Assuming the carrier isn't just forcing it to twist. You may be able to loosen the bolts and the whole thing straightens out.

You know I'm not sure if it's a factory OEM bearing or aftermarket. I sure hope it's not an aftermarket. I'll know for sure tmrw I guess.

Plus I bought the truck lifted, Toyota put the bilstein 5100 package on truck, but now I'm wondering if the driveshaft wasn't adjusted for the lift, now it's destroying these joints and bearings?

The carrier does get a little more stressed when you lift it so if it's not shimmed that may help.

So if it's twisted is it okay to drive 500k? I drove 500k to get here and no issues until yesterday morning when it started to squeal like crazy

I wouldn't keep driving it that way. All you have to do is loosen the bolts and even the gaps. If you don't have the tools see if a buddy can do it for you. Were talking just a few minute job.

What you may try is, strike the u-joint yoke ears with a wooden mallet. It is possible to install a u-joint too tightly inside the driveshaft yokes. I wouldn't think a little bit of eccentricity in the carrier bearing would cause this since the bearing is basically floating in a rubber boot.

I'm taking it to a buddy now as we speak to see if we can loosen the bolts to even the gap. Hopefully that works. I'll update when I'm done
