It is a very common talent here, problem being, most of us probably don't need help spending our money! :p

You did get the 20" grill, right? I didn't have a note in the order about letter coloring.

Guys, the day job is sending me over to Louisiana this week. In fact, I fly out tomorrow morning at 5:55. I'll be back Thursday and will try to get everyone's lights out to them while I pack for another meet out at Hidden Falls. I apologize for the delay.

Batman will be picking up the lights for me tomorrow and will keep them safe till I return.

Hmmm...is that a sticker I see behind your grille? Pretty sure I didn't get one of those. :(

Guys, I hate to say it, but it looks like the shipment of lights has gone missing. They were delivered by DHL Monday morning, and when my friend went by to pick them up that afternoon the boxes were not there. This was at my apartment, which is all interior hallways and only has 15 units, so they weren't just left sitting on the porch or anything.

I'm working with DHL and have initiated a trace to see if the packages can be located. My issue is that I left notice that the packages could be left at my door, which I've done numerous times in the past without issue. So I'm SOL on filing a claim. I guess I'll have to start having DHL and other shippers hold my packages at their facilities till I can go get them.

I will be talking with my neighbors tomorrow when I get back into town to see if anyone saw anything, or if one of them picked them up for safe keeping.

If the packages do not turn up by the end of the day tomorrow I will place another order with my supplier. Everyone will get their lights, but there will be a delay. I'm sorry that this happened, but it's out of my hands right now. I hope you guys understand.

As for the possibility of the lights being stolen? I'll be keeping an eye out for my Trail Toys branded LED's for sure. The logo is laser etched into the housing, so there won't be any hiding them.

    Again, sorry for the delay.

Hey Nathan, sorry for calling you out on lack of communication on the lights in IM.... I had not checked this thread in weeks, hope your neighbor has them and shipping soon.

Received my grill last week (if I remember correctly... it's been a LONG week). It looks and feels really well made! I was waiting to install the grill until I received the light bar but based on:

I may just go ahead and install it.

That stinks about the potential package theft. Hopefully someone just picked it up for you and kept them safe. Please keep us updated.

Well, I've checked with the neighbors, building management, and the singular janitorial staff about the packages. I have confirmed that DHL was here that morning and did indeed drop off the boxes. So I'm going to have to chock this one up to dirty rotten thieves. From here on out I will have all of my packages held at the shippers facility as I can't trust my front door anymore. That's a damn shame.

With that being said, I have placed another order with my manufacturer. I apologize for the delay and will get your lights to you as soon as possible.

    Thank you for your patience.

Installed the DB Customz grill insert today. I ordered mine with all black hardware. I couldn't install the LED lightbar because, well, they got stolen from Nathan's porch. :*(

Overall impression: This insert is well made. The design is smooth and finished. The powder coating is top notch. I wasn't gentle with it on purpose, as a sort of R&D for DB, and it held up remarkably well. DB said he paid for good quality powder coating and it shows.

Install took a couple hours including setup and cleanup. For the 2015, there are four (4) plastic retention (two on top, two on the bottom) clips holding the grill on and two (2) screws.

I needed to cut more of the stock plastic frame out than I planned, so that set me back a little bit trying to figure out why the insert wouldn't play nice. Not a huge deal.

Looks good. My lights were stolen too. Waiting so I don't have to remove the grille again.
