    That's what I'm assuming.

Something like this would be very nice.

This was my whole idea when going with the cut-out letters - doing some sort of white back-light. Not sure how I'll do it just yet, however there will be pics when all done!

Block of plexi attached behind cut out with LED's drilled in around the perimeter?

That is the easiest solution. You can apply a strip of LED's to the top and bottom edge of a piece of plexi and have a nicely lit up backing plate for the letters.

I like your thinking... Were you thinking the perimeter of the cutout letters, or the entire grille? Both have crossed my mind, and I'm not sure just how I want to approach it yet. I'll probably just have to wait to see it on the truck before deciding!

I was thinking of maybe 1/2" thick just behind the cut out of the letters and drilling into the edge to set the LED's Should be pretty bright with an LED strip top and bottom

Probably wouldn't be hard even for an end user to modify. Especially if your running lights, you can use the power from them I would think

Just get one of the cheap rolls of LED's off of Amazon. You can use the waterproof variety, and you really only need them on one edge of the plexi. I wouldn't plexi more than 1/4"thick. You'll just waste material with thicker stuff.

Cool. No need to to embed the lights into the plexi then I'm guessing?

Once the grille comes in, I'll be investigating this! Thanks for the ideas guys!

And your nifty remote-switch thing is still nagging at my wallet with these ideas of the lights, etc. My wallet is already too thin.. >.<

I'm thinking a smaller TRD logo just below the "A" in TOYOTA?

^ That looks pretty sweet! Still room for cubes in there?
