DBCustomz Grill Insert

I have one I need to install but the mounts for the S8 30” BD Lightbar is just a little too tight and there’s no way to move the mounts apart so I’m looking to see if I can shave down the the light itself to make it fit.

 

Ok im a bit worried about my db customz grill i ordered
I ordered it on the 7th
And didnt have any confirmation of it
If its been sent to me yet
Sucks to live in hawaii gotta wait wait wait
And shipping is high like a 100 bucks

 

Its freakin cool
I wish i can control the brightness of the light
Really happy with it
Its worth every penny to me

This might help
Those bolts on the grill dont aligned right on the plastic
It will fit in on the holes
But it will not aligned on the plastic
Easy mod just make the holes on the plastic a bit bigger
( i fitted the gril on the plastic then use my soldering iron to melt the plastic so the grill will align pretty good with the plastic)
That grill will be centered on that plastic grill

 

I've had mine on for about 6 months now Not one problem no signs or rust and takes rocks like a champ

These grills look friggin great and i’m seriously considering one with the night glow TACOMA. I think it will really make a statement to the front of the rig.

 

I do have a question and I apologize if it was already asked. How is the night glow on the DB Customz grill tied into the Tacoma DRL correctly? I’m going to place a order and need to know in advance.

 

We do take pride in our work...We do stand behind our hand built grilles. I'd like to think our grilles are BOMBPROOF but LEDs can go out occasionally but rare. We have 1000's in stock if the LEDs ever go out wed replace it for you

I've had mine 3 years next month. It's been great and I've been very happy with it.

However in the past six months or so, it's developed a number of places where the powder coating is chipping off and the grill is rusting.

Looks like I got one of the early non-stainless ones :-(

 

Looking at the website I see some listed as aluminum and some as stainless. The one I ordered about a week back says powder coated aluminum.

Anytime I see that it makes me feel comfortable that my purchase was with a company that stands behind their products.

 

I treat my grilles like my babies...We learned our lesson early using mild steel...I will stand back and smile to these companies knocking our grilles using mild steel...lol

 

I’m looking forward to installing one of your grills on my Tacoma, as i’m sure it will completely change the looks.

While I’m thinking about it I need to ask if the LED lighting is 12 volts so it may be tied into the DRLs?

 

I feel terrible charging the $100 shipping. We get absolutely RAPED shipping to HI, AK, and Canada

 

Either straight to the DRL or inline fuse in the fusebox

 

Our EARLY grilles were indeed mildsteel...If its rusted really bad shoot us an email sales@dbcustomz.com
