So I went into a local rim shop the other day and wanted to price some Dick Cepek DC-2 for my 08 trd sport (17's). After the guy at the counter looked them up he said they wouldn't fit because they didn't have the proper hub bore? I've searched and it looks as though there are plenty of people on here with those rims on their 2nd gen taco.

Could some please clarify? Any help is appreciated.

Sure he wasn't looking at chevy rims? They would have the same lug pattern, but a smaller hub bore. Call him back and ask him what the hub bore size on the rims is.

No, I understand that chev's have the same bolt pattern, so basically what he said was they were available to fit a chev and not toyota.

I'd call another shop, or just buy them online.

So obviously you're saying they are available to fit 2nd gen taco's. Meaning there is nothing special I need to do for proper fit?

Thanks for the input, I looked on the DC website and there is a note for that part #

"** Hub centering ring included for late model Chevy/GMC application"

So does this mean the hub bore is correct for the Taco and the ring is for proper fitment on a GM?

I had the same problem with my parts guy. After he read it 4 times they are for a yota and come with a center ring for chevy app. I go to buy them tomorrow and should have them mon for 119.00 each.

    Surfinpig,

Where are you getting them. I'm in Canada, and I feel like they're much more expensive here.
