Damn... that would be pretty cool to have an entire city shut down just so you could tear ass through it!

I'm pretty sure, the first Gymkhana, they divided the shots up...closing each part of the course at a time rather than shutting down the entire course. and evacuating everybody LOL.

But yeah that would be sick.

They 'evacuated' Marine Corps Air Station El Toro in 1999 when it was closed down... :)

    Gymkhana 1 was in 2008.

I know, my point was that I think Gymkhana 1 was done in a single take, rather than shooting each part of the video separately.

BTW, I drive by the El Toro base everyday on my way to work and back home...done quite a few auto-x events there in my Mustang, pretty fun!

Ken Block sure is an amazing driver. Jumping a car in mid drift, landing sideways, and not rolling it, wow!

I sat on my computer all day waiting for this video to come out. Definitely the best, was dissapointed with the 4th one. This one actually showcased a ton of his skill. 4 was way to flashy.

In a trailer for this, they mentioned that before that day, travis had not even touched a dirt bike in over a year.

such a sick video. the views when they take still shots from GoPros like @3:50 and do a weird freeze frame, is probably that coolest thing ive seen. i love the use of the GoPros too, simply amazing. especially when one of them falls of the back
