Just an FYI, Koons Tyson's Toyota had brochures today. They said 2-3 weeks before they arrive.

Koon's Annapolis and Priority Toyota in Springfield, VA both have some 2016's now. Those are both a 90 min hike for me, unfortunately, but I hope to be test driving this weekend maybe.

I know it's a little ways off from the beltway but I'm pretty sure I saw one on the Buckannon Toyota (WV) lot yesterday. I'd have stopped and leered and made snotty comments about the grill to the salesman but I was on the clock with a vanload of students lol.

I called Priority Toyota in Springfield and sales guys told me they won't be getting anything until next month. They have 5 tacos listed on their website. Also called Koons and the sales guy sounded not sure on when they gonna get some. He told me he will check back with me next week.

WTF? Why would they list them on their website? They're either lying... or... they're lying.

I think it's either on the way or they just put in a build order and expecting in few weeks.

Not in the DMV area, but south-central PA (Harrisburg.) Went and talked to a couple dealers. Found a dealer that has a 2016 I like allocated to them with a build date of October 4thish. He said they should have it by the first week of November, as long as no one comes in and makes any changes to it. They offered me $650 over invoice for the truck and about $3,000 less than KBB "very good" trade value for my '08 4Runner. I said thanks, but no thanks.....

More on point, I bought my current 4Runner as a certified pre-owned from Younger and they'd have to offer some serious personal favors for me to buy another vehicle (at least used) from them. One of the worst buying experiences I've ever had.

I'm doing my best to hold out until December, when salesmen are trying to up their annual sales figures. So they can all the time in the world....

Except I want to drive one NOW!!!!!

What dealer? I've been in touch with dealerships in Harrisburg, Lebanon, Reading, Hamburg, Lancaster and Allentown and not one will talk pricing yet.

I spoke to Michelle there and she said nothing until beginning of November. Go figure.

Bill at Faulkner said the same thing. Although he was the most straight forward of all the dealerships I've spoken to so far. Diamond in Lebanon is pretty good to if you talk to the right person. So far everyone else I've spoken to at the other dealerships in the region I've known more than them about the truck.

Just got back from my lunchbreak at Faulkner. Talked to salesman, Nick, and salesperson in training, Allie (worth the trip right there ) and sales manager Jim Porter. Very factual sounding info and typical of Toyota. They have trucks built and they are waiting at ports to be delivered so the mid-Atlantic dealerships all get 1-4 trucks at the same time. So mid October - November is the expected range of arrival dates.
I'm seriously leaning toward a leftover '15 at this point though, although if you don't have a trade to deal with, the sales folks are very hungry right now  The sales manager openly told me I could have holdback and everything he's got on a 15 and would gladly deal on any 16 he has coming in as well. This was before I even expressed any knowledge of the sales process or negotiating.

I've been a Rahal Sales customer since November of 2000, but the folks across the river will very likely get my business this time.

Freedom Harrisburg is supposed to get a Silver Sky DCSBOR4x4 Automatic as their first truck. Build date October 4th ish.

MSRP is $35,719.00. They quoted me $33,744 for the sale price and as dealer cost. Holdback is $754 on that truck.

If I buy a new truck, it'll be an American assembled '15 DCSBOR4x4. Mr. Jamie Miller is the salesman you want.
