The start of the build is here. My bfg ko2s 285/75/16 arrive to the tire shop today. The shop probably won’t install them on the 7inch side trd off road wheels so I’ll have to find one that will. Also got 1 1/4 inch spidertrax spacers to clear the uca, not sure if I’ll really need them.

Today I also ordered front and rear Bilstein 5100 shocks with old man emu medium duty coils and toytec add a leaf. Ended up paying $780 after shipping. Let me know if that’s a good deal or not.

Probably should have ordered the lift first to already have it installed before the tires got here, but oh well. I hope I don’t get taco lean because I couldn't afford the 1/4inch lift spacer for the driver side. I wonder if I can adjust the front driver side 5100 to fix the lean if needed.
Bank account is at $20. Just enough gas money to get to school and work for 2 weeks.:notsure: We’ll see what I end up buying next paycheck even though I should probably save it.26665F96-8428-4946-B298-13BF8B40DC7F.jpg6C21EB78-4144-4B41-9843-168BA0CD4AA4.jpgimage.jpg22730F76-ADDC-4EDD-97AB-997E8B84A95B.jpg428BE88E-55E6-4976-9D2E-A9A616161DFD.jpg2C56A237-409D-45A2-9339-B00D50BAE132.jpg8B9E5D7D-F6F5-4B4C-879A-7559AFE9F3E8.jpg

I would be interested but a local shop near me gave a quote of $700 built in shop, powder coated and installed. I don’t know if mobtown comes powder coated and shipping to California would not be worth it for me. Also heard good things about the shop from other locals. Beastfab_socal on Instagram

You couldn’t afford a 1/4” spacer? Dude, I’m sorry but honestly you need to be more responsible with money.

Not trying to be an ass.

Tire shop said they would have no problem installing the 285/75/16 on the stock wheel. They also said the wheel spacer was not needed. But it’s definitely needed. At full lock both the tires are about less than a half inch away from the uca. Only heard rubbing when fully locked in reverse so far. Tried hitting bumps and dips while going straight and while turning a bit and no rubbing noises. Getting the cmc and pinch weld done next Tuesday and hopefully my lift will be here before next weekend to knock that out. Can’t wait to hit the trails once the lift and cmc is taken care of.

Ehhhh $20 in the bank, and payday is two weeks away? What could go wrong? BTW, the 1/4 inch spacer was less than $20.

How is your setup running? I have Been diving deep into the forums to help me decide whether or not I should get 285/75r16’s on stock wheels with my bilstein/aal setup. Bilsteins are set to 1.55”. Also would plan on a 1”-1.25” spidertrax spacer.
