I've seen plenty of DCSB. Especially in the Sport. But does anyone have pics of the DC LB OR?

I have yet to see pics of this elusive beast. Mine is supposedly being built today ... if it does it's two more weeks to delivery!

I haven't placed my order in yet because I'm not sure if I should get a DCSB or DCLB.

The ones arriving around me (Orlando, FL) have an availability date of Nov. 11 ...so nothing available to see immediately around here.

I am going tomorrow to take a look at what the local dealers have. Some show having one, or two, with some of the options (not all) that I want.

If I go with SB, it'll be a Limited.

But, right now, it's a LB pushing me towards a Sport or OR.

Thanks for the pic @TRDPro4x4 .

I just saw one in MGM today when getting my oil change. A young couple was taking it for a test drive so I didn't get to see the interior. No pictures of it online and it's msrp is 38,220.

During comparison shopping, i drove a long bed and it road almost identical to the short bed. The long bed looks way too long for me and i do not need the extra length.

Understand not needing it this moment, but you never know when you might. It's another foot! I have a 1st Gen DCSB and can't sleep in the bed, whereas my 2nd Gen DCLB has room for such things. Take a test drive with the LB, and see how you like it. That extra space comes in handy.

Indeed. I have a DCSB and as much as I love it, I hate every trip I make to the lumber yard, and every piece of furniture my wife decided she needs from Ikea. Lol

What about using a bed extender? Supposedly you get almost an extra 2 feet out of it.

If you use a truck at all as a truck, get the long bed.
Nearly every standard piece of building material is 8 foot long. In a 6 foot bed with the tailgate down, it's easy to haul. In a short bed with the tailgate down, not so much. More safety concerns. Furniture is another one too. Most things are about 6 foot long. I personally just feel more comfortable knowing that tailgate supports as much of the item being hauled as possible. Less room for normal, human error.

I had the opportunity to buy a short box truck when I got my second 250. So glad I ignored the SO and went with the 6.5 foot bed. Bigger beast to drive, but at least it's functional.

It shouldn't be called a bed extender, because it doesn't have anything to do with the bed. It basically is a tailgate extender and serves absolutely no purpose when hauling things around 8 foot long because you can't have them down. I see people use them for things like putting four wheelers in their bed, I guess it works for that but really doesn't for any work functions.

A long bed costs what, $275 extra on the price of the truck? A bed extender is about the same cost.

My points exactly, and last point not mentioned here is the ability to sleep in the back. I don't fit in my short bed either.

I love my short bed. It looks great proportionally, and it's easy to park, but it just doesn't truck the ways I need it to.
