Lift install is happening... some parts are still on UPS truck to finish the rear lift... hope he doesnt get lost on the way here.

Did the compressor-less spring install method. Such a breeze.

Game plan is get the front lift on, tear down the rear end and hang the leaf springs and then wait for UPS. Button up rear then jump back to the front for SS brake lines and rotor/pad install so i only have to mess with the brakes once.

@ChadsPride ha they are tall with the weight of the truck on them too.

Quick question for any and all who see it... 285/70R17s on texas edition rims... where will i have clearance issues? Its looking like i may need wheel spacers to clear the UCA ...

I recommend this method to everyone, yet no one seems to want to do it for some reason. WAY less sketchy than a compressor from auto zone

Started on the rear, will have the new leaf springs hung in place and then continue waiting for u bolts to arrive when UPS gets here.

I spent 10 bucks and washed my truck yesterday and it was still covered in mud ha. Damnit20161014_125114.jpg

Springs in, ubolts tightened and bump stops installed. Damn lower shock bushing is the wrong size to fit in the mount and i have no sander to shave it down... the end is near20161014_174035.jpg

Like the lower mount is a hair too narrow? Same thing happened to me and I just hammered it in. In hindsight, I would've bent the mount open a little bit more.

Looking good!!! I just cut those clips off the ebrake cable and didn't reattach them to the spring pack. It was so tight on the line I don't think I could have if I wanted to.

Called it a night, few things to finish up and tighten tomorrow. Alignement is scheduled for 1pm tomorrow. Dont think ill have time to get the tires this weekend so ill have to come back down to denver and get them installed wednesday morning.

I am hoping brakes shouldnt take longer than an hour or two20161014_184545.jpg

AP 4inch longer brake lines installed, front brakes next. Then back to Harbor Frieght for more tools ill only use 1 time.. haha20161015_085933.jpg
And full droop without shocks installed... abs line coming down the center of the axle is the next limiting factor.

Lucked out and made it to discount in time for the tires to get installed tonight. Toyota got me for 1/2hr of labor to torque all suspension components and lube all the zerk fittings but its now aligned and torqued so i have nothing to worry about now ha.

I sure hope these 886 settle some, i dont remember my 2011 sitting this high. Might have to get a bumper on there or swap to 887 coils.... anyone looking forn886s haha

Tires actually made it on today. No rubbing while turning lock to lock, i still want to do the CMC just to avoid rubbing off road.

@YotaDan, the Dakars with yall's AAL ride great so far. They are holding the weight with no trouble at all!20161015_180154.jpg
