Back home in leadville. Got gas and other supplies and headed up the mountain to see how it rides off road... no more wheel hop on the smallest bumps! The front is stiff as expected but im hoping will soften uo slightly or a winch bumper goes up for sale locally for a steal of a price.

No idea if ive hit the timbrens yet, but off road the rear suspension stays planted and i dont even notice the weight any more

The incoming cold weather is slowly killing the second battery since i havent been driving long enough to fully charge both batteries. Going to look into a solar setup this week. Likely just start basic with a aluminum framed 100w panel and the basic 30amp controller. I think that should be plenty for what little draw there is overall.

Took a quick trip up an old trail to see how it handles off road.

Then i took a 3 hour nap up top.

Are there any IFS skids that cover the LCA mounts? when i was under the truck this past weekend installing the lift i noticed ive already taken enough damage to the mount that to remove the LCA id have to bend/pry the mount a good bit.

BAMF makes decent skids that cover that area, if your not in a hurry Mobtown might start making a set

DAMNIT! at least now i can fix the angle of the projector on the drivers side.

Flexed pretty good offroad today, front drivers tire ripped the lower part of the fender flare off.... that is just unacceptable Ha. Does anyone have the link to modifying stock flares for 1.5-2" gain of wheel clearance?

Ive seen it done and will look. Plan B that some take is simply removing the flares altogether.

Remove the inner liners and flex, make sure the tire doesn't hit the fender. If it's at the sweet spot you're good to go. If it hits the fenders you might want to add some super bumps with a washer or 2, or trim the fenders which can be time consuming if you don't want it to look ugly.

Timbren front bump stops, do they allow full suspension travel like stock,or more / less travel? I am trying to keep the tires out of the fenders even at the cost of up travel.

Doesn't sound like it is what you want to do, but I suggest cutting the plastic back. On my 07 to fit 285s I used a new PVC cutter, the blade can just be pushed through the plastic, makes a nice clean cut.
