    9 out of 10 men prefer the DCLB :evil:
    :rofl::rofl::rofl:

    Pick one based on your needs and be happy. Pretty sure everyone will recommend what they personally prefer.

    I have owned them all and if i didn’t need the room for my grandkids I’d have the access cab. I currently own the DCLB and for my needs it’s prefect.

    I had two DCSB and one ACLB in second gens and I now have a DCLB 3rd gen. One thing I noticed going to a double cab is the cab itself is MUCH stiffer without that huge opening on the side of the cab. Bumpy roads the driving experience is much more well... refined. And I found the suicide doors to be a complete world of suck in parking lots. Try and get your dog in or load groceries with a car right next to you.... Nope. I don't do a lot of tight trails and I really wanted more than a 5' bed so when I found a clean used TRDOR DCLB in black last month I bought it. And I will say it's like parking a fullsize truck sometimes. Not the end of the world.

    Well if you don't carry anyone else besides you and the wife, buy the access cab. I just went to the AC OR from a DCSB OR. The biggest difference between the two is that the DC back seat blocks a lot of road noise. I have a big box of dynamat for that now. And the full length bed is much better than the short bed for carrying anything long.

    And I definitely got a unicorn... she's a manual!

    My dealer had a ACLB with a manual TRD Sport, but it was white and was almost 10k more then the new one I bought. It was a simple case of mathematics, and chose the cheaper one. My parents have a DCLB and it can't fit in the garage either. I would like a DCLB, but I wanted a manual more.

    The stories I'm reading on this thread are so broad...with so many different needs.

    No wonder Tacomas...and Tundras are selling as they do.

    I've always had sedan vehicles that I transitioned to an SUV...and then, kept it in my first NEW truck.

    Glad to hear that the back seat blocks out some road noise...I haven't really noticed the road noise but my longest trips are to the beach on Hwy 1 and a couple of times driving up north to the Riverfront in Wilmington.

    Looking sharp! Kinda makes me wish I went with white. I have an allocated Lunar rock access cab off-road due in April. Topper is the first thing I'm adding.

    Love my long bed. As for parking - I dont mind walking if it means I do not get door dinged. I just park at the far end of the lot.
