    Has anyone ever tried this?
Are the frame bolts and typical mounting spots the same?

received a gift certificate from a shop that doesn’t (and won’t) sell a long bed slider, was thinking about just ordering a set of short bed sliders and modifying them?

    thoughts?

Is the certificate just for sliders or anything you want?

They really only make sliders unfortunately.

Is the certificate enough to cover the set? Or just a small portion?

It covers the entire slider plus a little for shipping depending on the options.

Well I mean if you have no other options I guess you could buy the sliders and sell them. You won't redeem 100% of your gift card but you should be able to get reasonable close and pay for most of a set from somebody else who makes DCLB sliders.

Exactly what I was getting too. There are lots of people with shortbeds who would love to get a set of sliders without an 8-12wk waiting time. Then you order yours and pay the difference. :hattip:

    Ya, thought about that.
Will most likely go that route.

Couple of bucks in the pocket and can help out a TW member!

    all good!
