Do not buy these kits. They are junk, and the customer service is a joke. I've had a kit for less then a year, and have had several connectors break, and recently my lights started to intermittently high speed flicker, which is the sign of a bad ballast. Sent my whole kit in, and they say my ballasts are fine, and they will replace the harness under warranty cause of the broken connectors, but not the bulbs. Even though the connector that broke is what connects the 2 together. They say the harness is warrantied but the bulbs are "damaged". I have to buy new bulbs for $42. The company is a joke, products are terrible, and I am an extremely unhappy customer

With TRS I had a ballast go bad with flickering issues in cold weather. Talked to their customer service and have a new updated ballast on the way, free of charge !

x2. OP, sorry to hear about your shitty experience with DDM tuning. That story seems to keep getting posted up every so often, they're customer service seems to be extremely lacking and their product quality is hit or miss. Go with TRS next time, they have a great product and excellent customer service.

I read that LEDs aren't bright enough to use as headlights

On a side note, does anybody here know how to get the high beam indicator light on the dash to come on with the HID kit? I know current has to pass through the low beam circuit when on high beam to get this indicator light to work. Would a small wire with a resistor from low beam to ground work?

Now I'm really fucking pissed!!! They told me I needed a new harness, was replaced under warranty, my ballasts were fine, and one bulb was damaged. I just ordered 2 new bulbs in 5000k. Got my kit in the mail, and guess what's in there. My old useless bulbs! After they took my money!!! Now I have to wait while figure out their fuck up

Dude, this is one of those types of places where you send them your money and pray to God you get a properly functioning part. If you don't you might as well kiss that money goodbye, or play your odds again and order another one. It's basically roulette when you buy components from places like this. This is why the last stuff I ordered was from VVME, I can guarantee their crap is made in the same factory as DDM, but a LOT cheaper. When one went out, I didn't bother contacting customer "service". I just ordered a new one.

Ive actually had good dealings with DDM.. I have two sets and had 2 in my honda also. The customer service was kinda iffy when i was trying to get info on the relay harness but other than that i have had a good experience.. Sorry to hears yours wasnt good. I have heard that TRS was a good company..

I bought my HIDs for my fogs from DDM; So far no problems occurred. HOWEVER, I bought my LED signal lights 3 months ago and recently one of the bulbs wasn't working. I emailed them regarding my lights and they sent me a bunch of bull****. I should've called instead of emailing.

I bought several kits for my old explorer and my friends car a few times from them and never had any issues. In fact the first kit I bought for my explorer almost 4 years ago is still going strong. However on any new cars of mine I will buy from TRS.

From what I'm hearing, their products are hit or miss, and their customer service is terrible. Mines been on my truck for less then a year, and I've had nothing but problems. Now they take my money for new bulbs, and don't even send them to me. Then when I call to complain, she sends me an email and asks me to respond with all the info, and I do and have yet to hear back

Just got my email stating they are sending me the bulbs I paid for. And they won't even up the shipping from their standard shipping, so it will be anywhere from 3-6 days before I get them
