did you adjusted them? on mine at the end of the beam, or when i am in front of a wall i can see an awkward shape coming from the light...does this happen to you too? i haven't adjusted mine yet, but i don't think that would help much, i am not too happy with it...

DDM Tuning just got the Raptor kits back in stock today!

Get some before there all gone again

I already have HIDS, but I ordered a Raptor kit just because that price can't be beat...

Maybe I can rig them up on my Sea Doo Jet Boat:D

Well, my 55w/8000k - 35w/6000k will be here tomorrow. I will be installing over the weekend. I know there are pictures all over the place but if anyone has a certain picture request let me know I will take it.

I've been looking at getting HIDs and think I'm finally gonna do it but I'm trying to decide on the color. I'm planning on getting them from DDM and I'm gonna get the 35w but it's between the 6000k and 8000k. I like the blue color and I'm leaning toward the 8000k but if anybody has some pictures of 35w 8000k or 6000k that would be very helpful. It may sound totally crazy but i'ld like them to be blue but I don't want then to be too blue.

Also there is alot of discussion about harness vs. no harness, I may not need it with 35w but since I'm getting them for such a good price i'ld like to get the harness just to be on the safe side. It didn't look like the kit comes with the harness so could someone tell me where to get one?

    Thanks

DDM tuning sells the harness also. If you get hi/lo set than it comes with a harness.

x2 the h4 hi/lo from ddm should come with a relay harness included (did with mine anyway)

as far as color, i put 5000k in heads, fogs, and hellas, and even they have a blue tinge to them. if you want a bit of blue but not too much, go with the 6000k.

So i just installed my 35watt hi/lo HIDs form DDM and I love the brightness and everything about them. My only concern is that they are pointing too high.

My question is for people that had to aim them downward, about how many turns did you turn them down? I have been turning them for quite a bit and its a slow process

Adjust, drive down the street and have a friend tell you if you're blinding them. Every truck is at a different height.

I installed the H4 and H10 bulbs this past weekend but when I turn on the Hi beam the light is really dull.

Was I not supposed to keep on the steel shield that is on the bulb. The headlights are not as bright as the fig lights on low beam either??

I have a 2010 tacoma so you all know.

Have you made sure that they are aimed correctly? I bet they are aimed too high. Also, what is your color temp? ^^^

No they are aimed ok I think they are 6000k 35W. My low beam is aimed perfectly so the high should not matter as you can not aim them seprately!

    Suggestions???

So I'm just curious how reliable the DDM HID kits are? I mean on their site they say that the apexcone raptor kit is nearly bulletproof, I would assume that means they are atleast waterproof?

Would like to hear about durability and/or reliability from anyone who has had a DDM kit for atleast 2-3 months
