I apologize if there's a thread out there on this already but I'm thinking about de-badging my Tacoma and curious what's the easiest way to do this. I'm sure that the badges are on with double sided 3M tape but wanted to ask before I started. Mainly wanting the to remove the V6 emblem off tailgate to smooth it out.

Ok good deal. I've used fishing line to remove badges in the past on other vehicles but wanted to make positive that they were on with double sided tape instead of clips. Don't wanna leave holes anywhere ya know lol thanks!!

Warming the badges with a hair dryer also helps.

I did mine this past weekend, just heated them up with a heat gun and used dental floss to pry them off. For any adhesive that was left on the truck I heated it up and it peeled right off.

I used a hair dryer instead of a heat gun just to be safe.
