DE Meet-Up Continuation from Philly Cheesesteak-over (June 24, 2023)

We've got less than 3 weeks until we meet up in Delaware City; we'll see if @Dream Weaver suggestion to visit the Fort was worth it! lol (I'm sure it is, I'm only messin')

I'm looking forward to Brunch at Crabby Dicks...their Blue Crabs are expensive but I'm saving up for this expensive meal.

I've got to locate some items that I want to sell...the Honeycomb Grill got cleaned up and put back in the box for @Backdoc. Mike, who you got doing TW-Express for you?

I updated post#1 of this thread for everyone slated to go.

 

We visited the Fort with friends yesterday. We did not take the scenic route 9 since I did not drive.

Ferry rides are every 30 minutes and it takes less than 10 minutes to get to the island...we caught the 11:30 ferry.

Apparently, bats inhabit the island so as you leave, it's recommended to walk through soapy platform before leaving the island.

It's a fun experience and we got to see the 12pm canon firing.

 

Have we called Dick's to ensure they can handle 20+ suddenly?

 

I can make a call...and see how their RSVP process works.

 

even if not everyone eats, might be a courtesy to have them prep for a group our size

I just took my old one, cleaned it up a bit, then hit it with bed liner and rattle-can red. Looks like I need to touch-up the grille though...
