Checking and maintaning your battery is quite simple.

It's extremely easy.... even you could do it. Pry those caps off.....Look in the 6 cells….. if water is not right up to the bottom of the hole you look in, then add 100% distilled water (like the shit you dump down the drain from yer de-humidifier)...bring it up to the bottom of that hole.

If you have not done this in 4 years...you battery will need about 1 cup per cell....you have done damage to your battery at this point.

"maintenance free" is stupidest thing I've ever heard, Regarding batteries that use water. (It result in a F'd battery prematurely)

Like our Mtce free Tranny that comes LOW from the factory.... I had to add 1 1/2 liters to mine.

By the way... how does Toyota get those caps off if they do not "pry". Special tool..?

    Good luck...:fingerscrossed:

This kind of mentality is why we have no transmission dipstick, Less grease fittings, and dishonest “Lifetime/maintainence free” marketing wank. You can bet those battery cap/vents would be glued in place if they didn’t expect top-ups. I check mine whenever I do my oil.
