Hey Chris, how do those 34s clear up front? Im on the fence right now about 33s or 34s to start. 285/75/16 fit well and won't look that bad since ill only have about 2" or so of lift

"need" might be pushing it. Want, cause I could use it, would be a little better. :D

The 34's where just fine with clearance in my mind. Like I said before, I rub a little on my cmc cause they weren't cut back far enough to fit these. Anything bigger and I'd have to start messing with the top of the fender well. It's gets REALLY close up there with the SuperBumps.

I could probably use a regear as well, but it doesn't seem too bad right now

Yea i want to regear to keep my power, but I don't want to have to quite tub out my firewall and inner fenders just yet. I don't mind a little massaging, but nothing crazy just yet.

I've just installed 295s and don't feel like need to regear yet! If I did go any bigger I would want gears

I agree as well! When I go to 35's I'll be regearing though. I was just saying it would be nice to be regeared with these tires, but not really necessary.

Are you looking for a sleeping platform type thing? Here's what I put in mine..

I'd build it lighter if I were to do it again however..

Yeah, I'm tossing the idea around still. Not too sure yet. I'm not a huge fan of having to take out a full on assembly just to use my truck as a truck. That's why I went with the collapsible softopper over a hard top. But who knows.......? I'm going to get some nights camping in it logged, and go from there!

    Thanks for the drawings Spencer!

And I kinda like the simplicity of the one you linked Jim bob.

Its still an issue with an rtt. Sure you have the bed space underneath, but anything large will still need the rack and tent off which isnt an easy task imo. Its just one of the setbacks though, but worth it if you dont need to haul stuff a lot (my only isue will be hauling my motorcycles but that isnt even a monthly thing)

Im thinking about the hitch carrier for the future ease myself too. Ill either have to buy one or pony up and remove the rtt. Something ill tackle next summer since i have no plans the rest of the year. Hitch will definitely be up there with a high clearance if thats the case.

Sounds like the simple solution to keeping the bed empty is moving the RTT to a full expo trailer ;)

my only problem with getting a hitch carrier for the dirt bike is trying to find one that sticks out far enough to clear my swingout and tire.....
