I need to solve my cb antenna dilemma first.... Anyone know who makes that antenna bracket that connects in the bed and goes through the slit on the side of the tailgate?

I got rid of the velociraptor sounding one and got a new antenna and cable. Retuned the new stuff and everything! Looks like I might have to buy a longer cable now cause from what I remember, when the antenna was in the bed I barely had enough length. So I doubt I'll be able to find an extra 2' to make it reach when it's outside the bed :pout:

Pressure wash with degreaser and/or hot water! I did that to my old truck before trade in, and took a bronze wire brush to everything to get all the dirt and paint and crap out of it, looks almost brand new when I was done!

I'll kept that in mind. But I'm going to first try a home remedy suggested to me by an old surfing hippie... :D

I finally got around to redoing my backup camera mount and rewiring. Finalized the wiring by just splicing into the exiting wires and rerouting it so there are no issues with the fold down table or the swing out. Only thing left to do is to get some wire clips to hold the cable in place (the ones I had were too big). As you can see from the last picture, the proximity line (red) and outside lines actually line up perfectly!!! Not too shabby for a Friday afternoon drinking beers in the garage :D

Cool with water, use heat gun from underneath, and peal off. Repeat if necessary. Turns out my old man still has some tricks to teach me! :)

Well shit, looks like my stock battery just took a shit on me.... It barely started last night, as well as this morning, and then at lunch only gave me the clicking noise of death. I was told 4 years on a stock battery was pretty average but I feel like that's a little premature? Time for an upgrade I guess....

as good of an excuse as any to get it done ! haha.

I need the truck this weekend so don't really have the time to wait for parts AND batteries to come in AND install everything, so I'll probably just get a Yellow Top and figure out the duals later... :(

Hope my battery dies! Then ill be forced to upgrade to LT suspension! Its the only natural thing to do with a dead battery.
