Lol. Isn't it normally a flat tire that forces people to upgrade to LT? :p

I'm getting a welder, so that's kind of a start :notsure:

There are only a handful of hippies that actually make sense, and I still listen to. :D

Not yet. Still planning it out. Hopefully squeeze it in soon before the rain season gets too bad. I think I saw somewhere that you moved south!? How's that change going?

Some more last minute additions for the truck before the upcoming trip. Maps, handheld, compressor, and inverter. We'll make it all work for now!

I wanna say I have the 40. It takes about 5 minutes to fill a flat tire up to about 25-30 psi. And it gets pretty hot. But like you said, it gets the job done. Now the wife keeps it in her car for inflatable baby pool toys and such. Where are you going on your trip? Up here?

I postponed my trip up north to go see the Baja 1000 and do some traveling around down there (couldn't you tell by the baja almanac? :) ) I'll be solo after the race, but it should be fun!!

Thats what I thought, but still hoped to get you that 6 pack I owe you :) . I'm Jealous, man! I would love to go watch Baja someday! My bucket list is to race in Baja. Dont care if I win, dont care if I finish, just to give it a try and hope i dont wreck the truck. That sounds like a job for a mid life crisis though. Well, enjoy! Should be plenty of parties and fun times to be had!

You have to finish, or should I say say start, your truck before that happens! :p

I haven't forgot about the 6 pack though. Im hoping you've found some good stuff up north though!

In Baja, I'm actually hoping to not see another soul. I'll be far away from everything and everyone, hopefully! :fingerscrossed:

Take extra fuses for that compressor, just in case. I've had two melt on me without breaking, which was interesting. I changed it to a buss fuse and haven't had any issues since.

Good insite, will do! Just tossed a few spares into the baja pile!

This is a preemptive strike on taking the truck over the canal to SA. It'll happen sooner then later!

Hah! I just got my VA confirmation email last week that they are processing my school claim. So I might see my truck fund cash flow with 1-6 months lol. Plus side? I'm going to see a huge deposit any day now, so i can basically order almost everything in one go, just from the back pay, and then the next deposit will be enough to drop the truck off somewhere for the build. Im thinking end of march/early April, since Jan-March I'm gonna be working every single day during our planned shut down at the refinery. I'm considering not regearing and adding lockers so I can get the rest of the build done first, since I can always get ECGS cores and throw them in myself.

Well, I'm not much of a beer drinker, myself. So I'd have to ask around for something rivaling Stone IPA. Or I can just snag a 6 pack of that anyways :D

Nice! If you pass by the canal in the beginning of January let me know! I'll be in Panama City. :D Otherwise, let me know if you want to stop for lunch in San Diego on the baja trip! Or a night in Anza Borrego or somewhere.

It is pretty slow, but at its price point its good to at least fill tires until you can get to a gas station
