i just welded a few pieces 3/16' together. It goes between the the topper frame and the canvas and connects to the bed rails. It was when I was practicing my welding so it looks like shit, but works. There are photos in my thread showing it, but I don't have the time to find them right now. I'll dig them up later.

Joined the cool kids recently a threw in a second battery (don't mind the body ground, that is getting upgraded) and the BlueSea MLCR. I isolated the new battery so it's only connected to the starter and have the accessories battery connected to everything else including the solar panel. Upgraded the "big-3" as well.

I built a bracket to hold it myself but didn't like it so I ended up just buying the battery try from OffGrid. It literally took 5 minutes to install, very simple!

yo, yo!!!! when's the next meet in SoCal!?

So it sounds like the hardest part of this project is just paying for it? LOL
    Did you follow any tutorial?

Hardest part was the wire routing since I used 1/0 for everything and also upgrade the big-3. There's not a lot of room near the starter/frame ground and those wires were originally bundled together with the COM wires to the starter. It was the hardest part, but not really that hard compared to a lot of other projects. So yeah, paying for it hurt the most. lol! I read some other threads but didn't really follow anything specifically aside from the wiring diagram provided with the MLCR. Super simple. Connect both batteries+MLCR and rewire positive from the starter to the new battery.
