I think it was an add on, or a survey for what style they were gonna make.

    hey Bruce,

the OP has nothing to do with the company he was just posting the info about the kick starter when it went live. you will need to contact Deadman directly I will tag them @DeadmanOffroad

you should be getting a tracking number when it ships. depending on when you order it and what number you are.

Just got the anchor + swag today. Looks pretty beefy. Has anyone found any particularly good places to store a deadman in an AC cabin?

Hey everyone! Somehow we stopped receiving watch notifications on this thread... sorry for going silent!

We're glad some of you have received your Deadman. We are working with Blue Ridge Overland Gear to get these assembled and shipped ASAP. We've asked them to drop ship them directly to our backers to cut out the time it would take to build up enough stock for a pallet freight shipment... that's getting them to people about 2-3 weeks faster as a result. We're also shipping out all other rewards/swag this week, regardless of whether your Deadman has also shipped. These are coming from SoCal and we should have all of them packaged and dropped off with the carriers by the end of this week, so you should have your shackles, shovels, etc sometime next week at the latest. Then, when your Deadman finally ships from Blue Ridge, we'll send you a tracking number for that.

We noticed that someone asked about a bag - working on that with Blue Ridge as well, but that will be a little while. In the meantime, we like to fold it into quarters and wrap the legs around it.

Please feel free to reach out to us here, via email (on our website), or on Instagram. We're committed to getting your gear into your hands ASAP!

@Lord Humongous YES!! We're stoked that you received it (yes, "finally")! We've got a better Deadman bag option in the works, but that's rad that you were able to fit it into the Harbor Freight bag.

Shipped through backer 101 now. **BUT** there were a lot of backers that did not order a Deadman, so (for instance) if you're backer number 175, it does NOT mean that there are 73 people ahead of you - there may only be 10 other Deadman backers between 101 and 175...

Regardless, the latest info we have from Blue Ridge is that they're getting faster and hope to have all of the Kickstarter orders assembled and shipped by the end of Oct. I know it's taken forever - sorry! - but the end is in sight.

We'll keep you updated - keep an eye out for Kickstarter update emails.

I'm looking forward to seeing the sac option. Will it be large enough to carry a few other items?

@Lord Humongous Yes, it should be. It'll have room for some other straps/extensions, shackles, gloves, etc. It will also have MOLLE loops on the outside for tying on other gear, and straps to strap it onto roll bars/bed racks, etc if you prefer.

Hey everyone! Quick update: we've shipped through backer #101 and are on pace to ship 30+ this week and 50+ next week (we're ramping).

If you're in the 200's, DON'T FRET!! Many backers did not order a Deadman, so just because you're #200 does NOT mean there are 99 people ahead of you. At our current pace, we're projecting to have all of the Kickstarter orders shipped in the next 3-4 weeks, so it's not much longer for anyone.

We're working with Blue Ridge to get these made as fast as possible, and we're getting close to the end. We are so grateful for the support of Tacoma World members - you all are awesome!
