I got less and less interested as I read through pages.

Still following though as @imtaconico said on the first page, I go off road alone a lot. So it could be helpful.

Im in for the early bird special. I've been following these guys on IG for awhile now. Looks like it will be an interesting product.

 

When I began reading this thread I was hoping it would be some sort of unconventional, proprietary "winch anchor", which we could REALLY use here in NV where there aren't a whole lot of trees or boulders or anything else for that matter to winch off of all the time. Burying a tire is often the only option and, depending on the ground, can take hours.

Don't mean to sound like a comment analyst but a tree hugger can be used around rocks, So it is basically a more versatile tree saver ? I know you can't divulge too much it is meant to be rhetorical.

You also said it is like a recovery swiss army knife so I can appreciate there is more too it.

I saw several teaser photos, none of the actual product in its entirety that I could find, did I miss something?


In any event I will be watching and hoping it is something I can use.

Im particularly intrigued by the shots in the sand dunes, that implies to me there is some sort of anchoring abilties involved

 

Can't really tell if you're mad, into the product, or just thinking out loud. Anyways, if you have an hour more of patience you'll see what I'm talking about. Like I said Swiss Army knife so yeah it has about 3 main uses but is limited by imagination. It can perform as a tree hugger and a rock hugger.

Ps there aren't photos of the actual product because they want it to be a surprise and so no companies like smitty built copy it prerelease

Kinda shocked at the mixed feelings right now,

This is a small, lightweight, compactable, replaced the need for a tree hugger and can use one rocks.

Nothing has been released to maintain suspense and avoid copy cats while patent pending.

That being said at 8am pst all questions will be answered with the video that will be on their kickstarter. I'll link the KS once it releases.
