Costco has a deal on most tires. I was able to pick up a new set of k02 265/75 16's for a great price. I have a 21 trd pro and no lift yet, but I have some 1/4 shims to put on, but rather not. Any trd pro's running 265/75 16 stock? Any rubbing?

I'm going rock crawling in a couple of weeks and rather not put the shims on, but costco wants to install them this week. Any advice would be appreciated.

i'm running these on my 2018 trd pro and there is no rubbing unless i'm off road and really compress the springs during a sharp turn, then i can hear/feel it. but otherwise fine

Costco will install even if they’re oversized? I was turned away once because of that.

I have a 21 Pro, and put a set of 265/75/16 on mine about 6 weeks ago, no rubbing what so ever. You should be just fine with that size. I'm bone stock except for the tires.

Really? I gave them my year make and model and they still set up the install date. Maybe cuz their not that much bigger than my 265/70's? ‍♂️

I just got 265/75r16 BFG mud KO3s installed yesterday. Had to sign paper acknowledging no warranty coverage on tires due to possibility of rubbing. I have ran this size for many years and it barely rubs. With my Icon S2 bypass shocks it rubs a bit more on the remote resi hose at full turn but I doubt you will have this issue.

Did they make a big deal about the bigger size? As far as I know, Sam’s, Walmart, and Costco only install factory tire sizes, or whatever your vehicle currently has.

Every Costco is different about installing larger than stock tires at least in my experience in the past. Also depends on who's working the counter that day too. $964 installed seems like a pretty darn good deal.

Had toyo mt's in that size on my '18 pro before I went to 35's. I never had any rubbing even if the tire was stuffed and at full lock, nothing touched or rubbed in the slightest. You will clear that size with zero issues.
