Get off the internet and go get that truck! Seriously, IMHO that’s a great deal, essentially a brand new truck...

I have under 2500 miles on my 2015 TRDORDC.

    They are out there.

If I were to sell mine, I'd likely list it at 30 K.

I hate to sound negative, but the other day you were looking to buy a double cab and now you're considering an access cab? It sounds like you aren't really sure what your needs are. When I was looking for a Taco, I was very specific in what I was looking for. Right down to the color, option package and price. For me, an access cab suits my needs perfectly for hauling stuff. In my opinion, a 5' bed is too short to haul stuff and a DCLB is harder to maneuver and park when hauling people isn't a priority. On the other hand, many people buy an access cab when they are a 2 person family and then are forced to sell it and buy a DC when their family grows. If you're looking to spend $26K, you should be very sure what your present and future needs are.

I already have a 04 double cab which I’m keeping so my options on the new truck are wide open. I’ve test driven all 3 cab configurations in the past week, but your right having the longer bed does make sense.

After everything that I'm hearing I'd go for it. Sounds like it's a good truck.
You drove it so you know how everything looks and feels.
If it all seems good to you. Plus if it's the body style that you want. Go for it before you loose the opportunity

I bought a Bakflip for my ACLB 30 minutes after I bought my truck. The cool thing about it is that in 30 seconds, you can fold it all the way up against the cab and use 98% of your bed. There are prop rods to hold it vertical while you drive down the road. Or if you want, you can remove it in 2 minutes.

I have the pop n lock tailgate handle. I am aware the pop n lock uses cheap plastic and I pull on the handle very carefully. To open the tonneau, you open the tailgate 1st and then pull the release cable from either side of the truck. If someone really wanted to break in, and knew how the Bakflip unlatches, they could probably get it open with a coat hanger. Just don't make it obvious to people that there's $10,000 in diamonds or 20lbs of weed in your bed.

    It IS a 4 year old brand new truck...practically :) .

They sold it to someone else WHILE you were driving it? What dealership was this? I'll put them on my "places I'll never do business with" list.

    Same crap everyone else got
I paid 30k out the door for my 2015 dcsb TRD offroad 4x4 with 25k miles last September. Aif that price is out the door and the title and car fax are good then I think it's a good deal.

That’s what...a solid 10k less than an ‘18? That’s a lot of mods, especially after factoring the interest you’ll pay if financing.

I bought a 2013 AC SR5 4X4 with 28k just last week. And in Red (sorry). I feel it’s a solid buy and and a great template for mods. My price was private party and someone I knew, but I did a lot of homework and that price is really good. Mine at 2 years older and 3 times the miles would’ve retailed similarly.

Personally I feel the ACLB is the perfect model Taco.

At the risk of running this thread off the rails...why? More HP and Torque in the 3.5...really had me debating buying the truck I just bought...but it was too clean and too new and too cheap to pass up.

Do it. IMO the access cab second gen is the best looking / most functional truck out there. not great at people hauling duties, but if it's you in the the truck 99% of the time, its perfect. The only thing I regret about my 2015 access cab is getting rid of it.

Listen, unless you placed a deposit on the truck, there is no tomorrow. Beleive me when I say this. Happened to me, I left no deposit and went back only 4 hours and it was sold. He tells me. I told you to leave a deposit. Lesson learned for me
