Deal too good to be true??

I said fuck it, can't pass up the deal for the sliders. I'm in for a set of sliders too

 

I bought the sliders about 2 months ago at their insane sale price. Saw the price dip even lower ($209) for a few days and was able to get a price match refund.
I picked up in store, had them unbox them and load into my truck bed. Saved on shipping, waste disposal (box is the size of a coffin).
I installed these by myself with the use of a few jack stands. Directions for install and hardware to use are less than mediocre.
Overall I love this purchase. These are very stout/ strong. Some people dislike the design but I personally like it. Also makes a great step to reach the roof.
If you are in the market for sliders or even 0* steps, can’t go wrong at this price. Save yourself $800-$1000 for other mods.
Pros: good quality, insane price, quality welds.
Cons: heavy 80+ lbs each, install directions and hardware labeling.

 

They arrived today! The box was absolutely massive, I thought they may have sent me a full bumper by mistake.

Be aware of the wiring box on the drivers side. It hung me up for a while until I noticed it was binding up my slider alignment.

Mine just got here 20 minutes ago! I just put on my new wheels and tires but plan to install on Saturday with better weather (currently snowing)

I recommend getting familiar with the install directions included. Identify the provided hardware and wipe off the packing grease.
I was able to install these solo in a tiny garage. Get the backing plates in position. Use Jack stands on each end and pivot the center toward the frame rail and support with another Jack stand/ bottle jack/ or clamps until you can start the center hardware.
These are heavy but take your time, be safe, be patient, and watch for the wiring loom on the drivers side front lateral frame rail. You can do this!

Good luck. They were not fun at all to install. Drivers side went on mostly ok but the passenger side needed some tweaking. I have a nice floor jack and I couldn’t have got them on without it.

Ugh, I was going to order these for pickup but they closed the 4WP in Cincinnati, so I would have to pay the $170 shipping on them. Its still tempting.

Couldn’t resist the price- pulled the trigger on the sliders. Going to replace the OEM oval tube steps. I guess I’ll sell them if there’s a market for them?

In your opinion, can a small 5 ft trophy wife with a bad back use it as a step to get in?

Just picked mine up today but not installing them until a few weeks from now.

Installed their sliders for one TW member,
and their front bumper for another one. Not bad quality for the price. Weren't the easiest installs, but definitely a good value.
