    I purchased the Thinkware Q800 Pro (currently on sale in Amazon) and attached it in the GO PRO Mount on my 2016 Tacoma Sport.

    Use the following RAM mounts.
    RAM-B-202U-153. 1" ball & rectangular plate (1" x 2.5")
    $14 RAP-B-202U-GOP2 with B Size 1" Ball
    RAP-B-202U-GOP2. 1" Ball GO PRO adapter mount
    $20 RAM-B-201U Double Socket Arm (Medium) Compatible with RAM B Size 1" Ball Components
    RAM-B-201U. 3.69" double society arm for 1" ball

    The Q800 camera after install lands close to the center. Also once mounted, it has a clean look. Make sure to purchase OBD 2 kit to allow parking mode. Also the 2K is very clear - I can see license plates even on night shots.

    To connect (hidden) - purchase the Thinkware OBD II (OBD 2) Power Cable (in Amazon). There's a Youtube install - https://youtu.be/vH08PV54uWI.

    Any newbie can do this - and you can personally hide the wires and connect to the OBD port underneath your steering.
