technically they aren't factory installed (don't come off the assembly line with superchargers) but yes the dealerships did install them when they took delivery on certain trucks, either as part of a dealership package or per a customer's request/order.

To find out if yours was dealer installed or not, you could probably search your VIN through Toyota's website to get a detailed history of it's service. If it was installed by a dealership I would imagine it would say so in the service records. Otherwise, someone else likely installed it or the PO did it themselves.

    Supercharged, Magnaflow, Volant,
Yep, bought mine (aftermarket) right after the discontinuation announcement. Prices were still reasonable. Got it dealer installed to have it included with my extended warranty. It has to be tuned in order for it to work properly.

Pro is that it is covered under your factory warranty if installed by a dealer.

Con is cost, some dealers know how long these take to install so they charge a lot. Others may not. I shopped around and prices varied greatly. Also if they messed it up it would be Toyota vs a shop and it would've been fixed by them for free.
