Hi all I just bought a new 2011 TSS Prerunner and when I looked at the truck I knew it did not have XM but the salesman think they know everything or just tell you what you want to here. Anyways now I have a We Owe for Xm and I do not have the JBL Stereo so my concern is are they going to put a after market Xm kit in my truck and how will they mount the intena ? So I guess Im looking for your thoughts on the dealer installing the Xm after the fact Thanks....

Yes they can install after the fact and the 6 disk is the same as the JBL unit. Do you have the 6 disk upgrade? And why would it matter anyway if its an aftermarket XM tuner? It will work just the same.

Maybe better, with the OEM radio you can't read all the info displayed.

I was not sure just asking, I think I'm just going to install a Sony double din unit instead.
