American Toyota here in Albuquerque mentioned to me they may have Costco pricing available to members but did not give me a specific date. I was I'm CO for the weekend anyway and figured why not test the waters in a bigger market and it paid off.

Oh wow, you are buying out of state! Hazaa to you, good sir. Seriously, people keep bitching and moaning about the prices in their area. You have looked elsewhere and have found success!

Yup I was in Colorado anyway and thanks to TW member swimmer, he pointed me in the right direction with this lady that helped me with my purchase. My advice is to just contact Mountain States Toyota Internet Sales Dept as they will more than likely give you a better price than your dealer.

On any big ticket item (TV, Computer, Appliances, Cars, Trucks) I have never paid the listed price, I have always managed to get a lower price, sometimes with extra's thrown in, you have to ask though...

Costco just gives an extra $1000 off any Ford here. No special pricing. It actually comes in handy. Basically haggle down your Ford to the price you want, if you want one, and then just before you sign mention the Costco bonus. Bingo. Another 1K off ;), I've done it a few times.

You must love Visions, or other independent, electronics stores. I know Best Buy and other chains have stopped haggling on the price in Canada. My dad even walked out of Sears on a TV purchase because they wouldn't haggle like the last time he was there.

If dealers made more with no haggle ricing they would all do it. As it is those who can negotiate will and those who pay MSRP will. Dealers make great money hitting home runs at MSRP. They rarely get those sales. If they can hold out they will. They also make money selling at invoice..

I just went though this with the New Miata ND. Dealers wanted $2000 Over MSRP.......cars are sitting and they are now calling with deals, but I decided instead to buy the Tacoma and keep my Miata. Sale they lost......because Toyota is giving me a whole lot more for less....and they seem to be dealing around d here anyway

    THIS ^^^^^^^^

is how I got my deal.....I got a dealer three hours away to send me email quotes and took them local. If my local dealer fails me,I know where to go.

I did "fly and buy" the MX5 to save $3000. nine hours x $100 ride back....priceless.

I have no issue with fly and buy....Anyone who has owned a new or used Corvette knows that's is how it's done most of the time. The good Garage Queens and or high volume dealerships are not always in one's backyard. I sold mine to a fly and buyer.

Funny thing is, when my dad bought a new f150 they refused to give him the costco discount because he got employee pricing or some BS like that... to be fair he did get a new 2013 lariat for the same price I got my used 2012 dclb (I still prefer my taco).

So $35,877 is invoice? Heck that was almost MSRP on my 2013. Pricing on these trucks is out of hand. You could pick up a full size Ford right now a thousand or so less.

I don't know what the canyon/colorado are selling for in the States, but up here they're a decent amount more than the 2015 Tacoma's. I wonder if toyota is just trying to keep up to that.

Sales tax only $1109.28? You're telling me Denver has a ~3% sales tax? Also, where is the TTL and doc fee?
