One of my local dealers had a lifted 2011 on their lot for quite a while this past summer. It also had dealer installed leather seats and a custom mesh grille with lights mounted behind it. It looked sweet but they wanted like $38k for it

Dealers always try to make an example vehicle to show how "cool" their stock vehicles can be... but if you wanted to buy a 31k truck for 38k... my advice is to just buy the truck stock; that extra 7k will go MUCH farther if you do it yourself :D

I love the new 2012s. There is 2 jeep dealers by me that lift brand new wranglers. Spacer lifts and body lifts. They ask $40k for them and don't even get the matching spare

This one says $34,635, which is probably not bad IF it has a proper lift.

It looks awesome from the pics.

Def spacer lift! More return profit........I've been down that road as that's what mine had on it! Talked them down to 25k as it was used! Suspension was the first thing I changed but saw the potential, lol!

Is that grill different? Thought the other 2012s I've seen had a solid bar in the center of the grill. I call doodoo on dealer lifts. Overpriced nonsense. Just their way to get another 5g for tires/wheels & stupid spacer lift.

The Toyota dealers, at least in Socal wanted $4,000 for their lift kits. It is just a spacer lift, 300 in parts, 150 in labor, 50 alignment, 3500 profit.

Very curious what type of lift they used. Price really doesn't seem that bad. You figure a new off road is about 32k, add atleast 1500 for the rims and tires, nerf bars are another 300, trd exhaust is probably 400. Just really depends what they are using for a lift, i'd guess a block in the rear but what's in the front?

I cannot speak to what that truck has on it, but several of the dealers around here have been installing proper OME suspension lifts. They still overcharge for them, but it is at least decent stuff.
