Just got my truck back from the dealer for an oil change and now the truck keeps shutting off while driving and displays a Low Engine Oil and A/T Oil Temp error. Im having it towed to the dealer now which is unfortunately closed today. I see fresh oil in the dipstick. Anyone have any ideas what else it could be? if the engine was starved for oil for whatever reason what are my chances of getting an extended warranty for their mess up?

    16k miles on truck

They're gonna say "no damage was done". Then you say, cool so you wont mind standing behind your statement / belief and giving me an extended powertrain warranty then, cool.

knuckle draggers probably forgot to tighten the oil filter housing. Usually they over tighten that.

I change my own. I hate it, but at least I know it has been done right.

Could be a sensor or something, no oil starvation, just a bad reading?

Was the oil on the dip stick uto/close to the correct level?

You wouldn’t be the first person to have those lights come on.
It can be a myriad of things that can cause it.
From stuff stuck in the Throttle Body, dented Trans pan, low oil, crank sensor, to pieces left out of the filter cartridge. It seems those are like “universal” warning lights?

    Here is just one example

Look underneath for any oil blowback on undercarriage? See if maybe the left a double gasket on the filter or plug backed out? Any leaking?

Thanks for the suggestions everyone. The dealer said theres oil in there and that message will appear if the vehicle dies while driving so its not related to the oil change.
They are saying the issue is caused by the fuse tap i have to power my raptor lights and are going to further test to verify. I have it tapped into the INJ spot.

This is why I flat out refuse to use computers. I snail mail my posts into a 3rd party service that transcribes them on TW. Just too big of a risk of getting hacked by using a computer yourself.

Dealer changes oil, low oil pressure light comes on afterward, dealer blames raptor lights.

I'm surprised they didn't try to say that your floor mats caused it

I agree, i've always changed the oil myself on my previous vehicles (jeep wranglers) as ive had nothing but bad experience and poor workmanship from FCA techs. I thought i had a free oil change left at the dealer and needed an alignment done too so figured i have them do it as i heard toyota techs are more capable, plus its 115 degree here already. Come to find out i didnt have a free oil change and that they charge $80 freaking dollars for one these days.

That seems reasonable - I'm not sure why, but for some reason, a lot of after-market accessories recommend using INJ as a power source for an 'Add-A-Fuse' which, IMO, is NOT a good idea. Are your Raptor lights LED or incandescent?

I don’t know if that will cause the issue.

But I’d find a different fuse to tap.
That fuse goes to the ECM and Fuel injectors and Ignition Coils.
If you ever have a problem with the lights, it’s very likely to affect the Coils or Injectors.
Which will probably render the truck “dead where it sits” until you fix the problem
I don’t like dyeing stranded on the roadside. I’d rather have the tap to a less critical competition.
Like the tail lights or headlights or something?

Hmmm... would have thought you'd get away with that, but possibly not. The ECU is apparently VERY sensitive to power issues on this cct.
