    I used to write the mileage with a paint marker on the old style filters too.

    Tell the service manager after your chat you’ll be filing a formal consumer complaint with the attorney general office as you did not receive the benefit of your bargain...you are a taxpayer of the state and they will be eager to help as to the extent of that help will depend on your documentation to back up your claim.

    I’ve had it happen on a company vehicle, but that was at a quick lube place. Wouldn’t except something like this from the dealer, but hey I guess everyone’s in the business of screwing people over nowadays. :rolleyes:
