    Do you know what determines the value where the place holder is?

    45 = week

    I am guessing (and its a big guess here) the letter after the week number is the plant shift.

    Yea I was trying to have the dealer on here give me an update but since it's now built the place holder is a number. Other than trying the 10 variations there's no way to know the real vin

    Quick question for those placing orders as I've never done an order for a vehicle before, just bought one off the lot or had it transferred from nearby. I'm currently working on securing a deal and placing an order with a dealer for the specific model I'm looking for. My intention is to secure pre-approval for a loan from my credit union, and then see if SET Finance will match or beat the rate so that I can take advantage of their military rebate. My basic question is: if electing to finance through the dealer, when would this be negotiated? Is it up-front when the order and deposit it placed just like it would be from buying a vehicle off the lot? Is it later on when things are more finalized and a VIN is in hand? I'm just trying to keep all credit inquiries from rate shopping within the 14 day window to lessen impact on my credit report.

    Thanks for any tips you guys have.

    When I bought my 2014 I just used TFS and paid it off soon as I got the payoff amount. This time I'm gonna try and get them to rate match before I let them know I'm military. If they know you want the rebate they know you have to use TFS. Keep that til the end, just my opinion
